Have you heard of the Essence Festival "MY Black Is Beautiful” platform? Well, we are giving it a different twist for a cause. We are hosting our inaugural "MY BALD IS BEAUTIFUL GALA” to celebrate survivors of cancer and the families that supported them.
In a Nut Shell......CureQuest is sponsoring a contest to select the decorator for our inaugural
fundraising gala to be held on the fall of 2017. Coordinators will be competing by decorating a
dinner table for six. The judges will be judging based on budget, creativity, and theme. The
tables will be showcased at the Smooth Jazz at the Village live jazz event presented by Eventfully
Yours Special Event Venue on Sunday, August 6 th , 2017 at 6:00 p.m. The winner will be announced
on all CureQuest social media outlets.

It has been over 6 YEARS since my diagnosis and I am still in REMISSION. This year is a new Beginning. This was and still is my story of recovery from a disease called Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia better known as APL. This blog is to give back and uplift people around the globe.
