HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!

Its Valentines Day and I'm SINGLE again!!!!  Its been a while since I had a sweetie in my life.  Its sometime something I want and then when I think about it NOPE!  I get all fuzzy inside around holidays.  That is what gets me every time.  As long as I stay off Facebook or intagram I will be ok.  The more I see flowers, candy, or nice dinners, the more I want a boo.  But then the morning comes and the 15th comes around and then Im back to normal.  Its so funny how emotions are.  One moment you want a boyfriend, a man, a boo, a bae and then the next moment you love being single, not answering to anyone about anything.  Freedom costs a lot.  Dont ever think freedom is free.  Lol

So anyway my dear bloggers and family and friends....Have a great day today!!!

Hello Everybody!!

Ok so here is the deal.  It is 2015 and we are already in February.  So I plan to write at least once a month and if Im focused at least twice a month.  I have decided to start my book.  Yes, you heard me right...my book.  I have at least three in me.  This first one will be my entries of my life in my journal.  I am going to try my best not to name any names.  So if you see someone in the book that might sound a little like you.  It might be or maybe not.  I love it.  In my future relationships, just know now that this is my past so dont get all upset. Everybody got a past.  So back to my subject on writing you today.  In January 2015 I had a epiphany.  I am going to go full speed ahead with my books and my business. CureQuest is on its way to becoming real and working for people.  I wanted to use a business called ACN.   ACN gives me the opportunity to lower clients utilities and cell phone service.  I just found out that I can also save people money with prescriptions.  Im really excited about what is about to happen.  I feel a shift coming really soon.  So let me stop hear and tell you the next time I come back it will be with even more good news!!!

A Little Bit About ME!!  

MonaLisa is a Philanthropist. In 2010, MonaLisa was diagnosed with Leukemia. Having gone through such a traumatic experience with no knowledge about the disease and lack of support with living conditions, she was eager to help and do more for herself and the community. So, that same year, while in remission, she formed an organization named CureQuest, Inc. This is an organization that is a resource for blood cancer survivors in their recovery stages. After diagnosis of the cancer, families are in distress about bills and how they are to pay for prescriptions. CureQuest, Inc gives families resources and information on how to relieve these burdens and press to regroup and LIVE!

MonaLisa is the mother of four boys. The third son passed away in 2005 at the age of 6 years old. MonaLisa was married for 13 years and has been a single parent for 12 years. Her son’s ages are 28, 22, and 10. The oldest serves in the Air force as an Air Traffic Controller, the second son is a senior at Texas State University, and the youngest is in 5^th grade.

New Hair Don't Care!!!!!

Hello everybody as the song says, "I GOT A NEW ATTITUDE"  I am starting to venture out again and try and start my non-profit business CureQuest, Inc. and at the same time earn some money with a for Profit business called Style Architect Marketing Group.  I am pumped and excited once again...this has been in the making for 4 years now. Every time I get started I usually stop but not this time!!! I have to keep pushing this baby out!!! This baby must get delivered this time for sure. Keep me in your prayers!!!

Time to get BUSY!!! Its almost the middle of the year and what have I done lately??? Well, when I sat down and asked myself that question, I wasn't very happy. I have too many Gifts, Skills, and Talents to waste them this year. That might sound arrogant...but its true. Its true for me and for you. So lets promise ourselves that in 2014 WE WILL GET BUSY!!!!

Hello Bloggers!!!

Its about that time!! Yep you guessed it.  I'm getting a little antsy now that I am back in the swing of things.  I don't want to start any trouble but I am itching to get back out there on my own.  Not solely on my own but just to do some more speaking and teaching engagements.  April brings Spring showers and a lot of old stuff needs to be washed away.  Spring forward and do new things because Spring is HERE!!  See you on the flip side.  Stay tuned in to my Facebook page and my fan page titled UNIQUE IMAGE and the nonprofit CUREQUEST and the FACES of Leukemia campaign.  Oh yea, I haven't forgotten about that!

Long time no hear from...well I cant wait to announce that Spring Is Almost HERE!!  The weather is not getting the memo but it is.  I have decided in January of this year 2014 will be the year that I am DEBT FREE!  I am making plans, adjustments, sacrifices, and actions to make this happen.

I am pledging this and I am going to make it happen.  This is the good part..the church I go to FWBC is having financial classes in March to help people with the same goal in mind.  You know that aint nobody and nothing but God.  He does want us to be the lenders and not the borrows.  So if you guys can join in with me and say that you will make the necessary adjustments in life to not just save money but help those who don't have as well.  God Bless!

Its snowing outside!  It is February in Texas and those of you who know about Texas, it just doesnt snow.  So God is really smiling on us right now.  God is so good and fabulous.  He is letting us experience a real winter this year. I had to come to work today because that is just how I am.  Unless the weather is absolutely horrible, I am working.  So, this is a shout out to my boss who is just like me.  She loves to WORK!

GOD's Plan For My Life

I want to thank you all for continuing to read my blog.  Even though I haven't been as steady and constant as I wanted to be with it.  I wanted to be able to write something and inspire you every day or at least every other day. But that is neither hear nor there now.  This is a NEW YEAR and I am pushing a few dreams and visions out in 2014 that I have been sitting on for quite some time.

First, I want to finally complete my documentary of My Journey To Recovery.  I stared a few videos and stopped but I really need to get a good video person or producer to complete this vision with me.

Secondly, I want to complete my book about my life.  My struggles, my victories, my accomplishments, my failures. To inspire and encourage people to go on. To push and strive to whatever you are purposed to do in life.

Thirdly, Continue to write inspiring messages on my blog of course.

Fourth, Complete the task of getting CureQuest, Inc. certified to be a 501C3.  I still want to help people that were diagnosed with blood cancer particularly Leukemia in any way I can.

Fifth and Final - Continue to tour and make inspiring videos of people that have conquered Leukemia and how it has changed their life for the better.

Long time...No Hear From!!

I haven't talked to you since July and I bet you are wondering, "What in the world is going on with MonaLisa?"  Well, here we go...

In July, I was unemployed and barely making ends meet.  I quit my job in March and lived off my savings for about 2 months.  In those two months, I wanted to start my business and my nonprofit AT THE SAME TIME!!  I know...I know...ambitious huh??  How about CRAZY?  LOL

I went and got certified for the business I started and its name is Style Architect Image Consulting Firm.  It was looking pretty good.  I was pumped and motivated in getting started.  I thought everything was flowing.  Then in August and September a few deals crashed and burned.  Now that is when your girl starting freaking out!! By this time I am living off friends and family and my bills are steady piling up.  Then I turned to the ONLY one that could help such a prideful and egotistic girl like me....GOD!

I prayed like someone had died or something.  Well, to really look at it.  I had to really DIE and depend on God for my source of income and not me.  I know you are wondering what I'm talking about well let me break it down.  I decided to do what he wants me to do, instead of what I wanted to do.  I wanted to own my own business....God said not yet.  I wanted to start up a nonprofit business, God said not yet.  So I had to surrender to what he wanted for me and that was working a 9 to 5 again!!

So, the moment I really surrendered and gave God full authority on what he wanted to do with me, He blessed me with a 9 to 5 and it pays more than my last endeavor.  But the enemy tried to allow my ego to kick in again and I didnt want to really say how bad I was doing to my new boss but when I did she understood and started me immediately.  So you cant tell me GOD AINT GOOD!!

Pumped and Ready To Go!!!

I am so pumped and excited about what is finally getting ready to go down.  CureQuest is about to start its first campaign.  Its Launch will be in the upcoming posts for all you guys to attend.  What campaign you ask?  Well, we have been trying to get all the data and video needed to get this thing going.  We have set out to educate and inform our local and regional communities about the blood cancer disease called Leukemia.  It is so often that cancer campaigns and adds are letting you know of the many types but hardly about the specific disease Leukemia. We have a national foundation called LLS (Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) and a statewide foundation called Leukemia Texas but no regional foundation.  That is where we come in.  This campaign will generate funds to get the foundation CureQuest up and running or off the ground as some would say.  So please give to the cause and help get the word out about this disease.  We want to do some major stuff that will help with awareness and assist those who are already diagnosed and living with the disease.

I am starting something that will change the fight in the blood cancer war.  First, it all starts with awareness.  You know I am a survivor of Leukemia and I noticed that not a lot of people even know about the disease.  I talked to people all the time and they dont know about it or even if they are at risk of it.  So I made up in my mind that I would educate the world even more about the disease and the affects of what it could cause but better yet how you can overcome it.  You overcome by first knowing the symptoms.  So I want to start a video and social media campaign to help people all over the world that might not know or think that it couldnt happen to them.  Believe or Not Leukemia looks just like you.  Help me in these efforts by supporting the video and social media campaign by giving to the fund.  Here is the link and I look forward to spreading the news to help fight and beat this disease.

The Month of May Means.....HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!

I decided to do something different this time.  I have been reading a few books these past couple of years and they have really inspired me.  So I decided to share two books that are on my MUST HAVE list.  MonaLisa Must Have List: The first book will encourage and challenge you all at the same time. It is an Awesome read and I hope you get one for yourself and any female you may know.  How about getting one for mom? That's even better. One Step At A Time

Hello and Good Morning My Fellow Bloggers,

I am on the grind today.  Getting extra money for the master plan that will take place in about two months.  I told you that I was starting a business, well low and behold, I have two businesses in my belly.  I have a nonprofit and a for profit company.  I am so excited.  The nonprofit of course is my baby CureQuest. The for profit business is called MonaLisa Image Consulting Group.  That is Unique Image on steroids.  I am too excited.  But my focus right now is to make some quick money to pay the bills up for a month and then close some deals that will bring me the big contracts.  Man, when God is for you, he is more than the world against you.  I just need to stay on track.  Stay focused and don't let anything or anyone distract me.  So everyone start praying now if you haven't already.  Peace.

A New Level Beating The New Devils

Well, I really don't know how to start.  I know its been a minute since I have posted anything.  So let me just back up and start over.  Well the last time I posted my Step Father Robert Earl Williams better known as Ole Folks passed away.  So since then my life has turned upside down. In February I had the makeover movement for what I didn't know until now was the last one.  In February we talked about Love.  What is Love and what does it mean to you?  The makeover movement was and always will be a blessing to me.  Even though it is no longer under that title.  We are doing some revamping and reconstruction right now.  So in March, I ended up getting me some new knowledge and understanding spiritually that I later found out saved my life.  March 31 was my son's birthday Menes Osiris Daniels.  He was the one that was killed by a teenage driver back in 2005.  That has been sometime now, but this time it really made me look at some things.  And unannounced to me, his father took it harder than me.  He set in motion an action plan to "rescue" our son that is now 8 years of age from me.  I tell you people I have been through a lot these few months.  But on a higher note.  I decided to start my own business.  It is long over due,

so I am working on getting that started now.  I will keep you posted.
